Global Agile HR leader Natal Dank to host Perth Workshop

The HR Agility and Design Thinking Workshop with Natal Dank offers an unparalleled opportunity to learn from one of the industry's leading experts. Scheduled for February 28 and 29, 2024, at the Purpose Studio in Perth, this workshop, presented by Twenty2 Collective, is a must-attend for HR professionals seeking to innovate and excel.

Natal is the second global thought leader to partner with Twenty2 Collective after Agile Leadership Journey’s Pete Behrens flew in from the US in May this year. Behrens, a regular keynote on the global Agile events calendar, hosted a two-day workshop during a promotional tour to Perth.

Agile HR pioneer Natal is a pioneer in Agile HR and business agility and author of Agile HR: Delivering Value in a Changing World of Work. “This learning experience brings to life my book - Agile HR: Deliver Value in a Changing World of Work – and reflects my years of experience working with HR leaders and teams through PXO Culture and the HR Trend Institute,” Natal said. “The workshop is perfect for whole HR teams who want to learn together and excellent for HR and people leaders ready to increase their team’s impact.”

Twenty2 Collective co-owner Marcus Ward thanked Natal for bringing her work to Australia from her home in Scotland. Marcus said the workshop would be a tremendous experience for Perth’s people professionals.

“The HR Agility and Design Thinking Workshop is more than a learning opportunity; it's a transformative experience that will equip HR professionals with the tools and strategies to lead in the new era of HR,” said Marcus.

Who is Natal? Natal helps leaders, organisations and brands embrace an Agile mindset, innovate their culture and co-create awesome places to work.

Following decades working in senior Human Resources (HR), Talent and Organisational Development roles, Natal coaches clients across all industries, from innovative tech companies, to not-for-profit, to global banks, in how to develop amazing employee experience, like a customer journey, full of moments that matter for your people and organisation.

In 2016, Natal hosted the first Agile HR Meetup in London with the aim of building a community of like-minded disrupters, which has since grown into a movement reshaping the global HR profession. In 2020 Natal published the book, Agile HR: Delivering Value in a Changing World of Work. Through her work at PXO Culture and the HR Trend Institute Natal focuses on defining modern HR for the now of work.

What is Agile HR? The workshop begins with an in-depth exploration of Agile HR. Natal will introduce key concepts and discuss the benefits for People professionals. Participants will learn how to translate the Agile mindset into the context of HR and organistional change, appreciating Agile as a response to our complex, disrupted business world.

Human-Centric Design in HR

Day one of the workshop also focuses on Human-Centric Design in HR. Natal will guide attendees through the process of shaping the employee experience like a customer journey, emphasising the importance of creating moments that matter for both people and the brand. This approach is crucial for developing a more engaged and satisfied workforce.

Experimentation in HR

A significant portion of the workshop is dedicated to the art of experimentation in HR. Natal will demonstrate how to co-create the employee experience in an evidence-based manner, using prototyping and testing. This hands-on approach allows HR professionals to innovate with confidence and precision.

Design Thinking for HR

On the second day, the workshop shifts its focus to Design Thinking for HR. Attendees will participate in a real-life design thinking sprint, applying their new skills to solve actual HR and business problems. This interactive and hands-on program is designed to bring Agile principles to life and foster a culture of co-creation and evidence-based change.

Applying Design Thinking in HR

The workshop concludes with a session on applying Design Thinking in HR. Participants will work in small teams to design personas, write hypotheses, and design experiments to tackle real-world HR challenges. This practical experience is invaluable for HR professionals looking to implement innovative solutions in their organisations.
